Kevin
    
  The owner / operator of Simply Sound Wedding DJ's & More, (Kevin) has been entertaining crowds since 1996, and dj'ing weddings since 1999. Kevin's passion for entertaining, landed him a part time job as a chicago wedding dj in 1999 where he became a very popular and requested dj.  After two years as a dj, Kevin's love for weddings made him pursue other avenues.  Kevin has worked so many aspects of weddings including banquet set-up to floral design, to videography and even as far as ceremony rehearsals and wedding planning, and now wedding invitations.  He has expert knowledge in weddings and event planning.  Kevin is very detailed when it comes to any event.  The knowledge obtained from these various aspects of weddings and his continued success in the industry led to the idea of venturing off on his own.  Knowing that his ideas, sense of business, and hard work could far exceed those of any other company, Simply Sound Wedding DJ's & More was created late in 2003.  His fun and energetic personality will keep you and your group entertained and dancing all night long from start to finish.  He loves rocking out the 80's (especially Footloose) but enjoys all styles.  He can modify his style from high energy (very interactive) to conservatively laid back (for those self starters).    
Kevin also designs and plan events when he is not dj'ing weddings which is another one of his passions.  His creativity, passion and expert knowledge of the industry and other vendors allows him to help you create the perfect vision and feel for your special day. His planning packages are either full coordination from start to finish, partial planning or day of coordinator.  Kevin is not your average wedding planner and has a more unique style to planning that makes your day memorable and work for you instead of the other way around.
 
Clint
With over 16 years of experience as a wedding DJ, Clint has amassed a vast clientele that repeatedly requests his services for weddings and other functions.  He specializes in tailoring your requested playlist to your wedding, insuring a unique musical experience.  He has mastered the art of blending different songs and transitioning through different musical genres fluidly.  Clint also understands how important it is to read the crowd and to keep the energy flowing.  He enjoys bringing quality sound and fun, lively music to any event he is part of.  Clint has the ability to give you the traditional wedding you've always wanted and he can add some sparks to your wedding with the contemporary, popular music of today, creating a more lively feeling to the atmosphere.  Clint knows the proper "chain-of-events" in a wedding reception and is very hands-on, in terms of client/dj planning and execution of important details that will set your wedding apart from the rest.  He is a take-charge type of person and he makes sure to communicate with the different vendors involved in your wedding to guarantee that all the events that take place happen in the correct order and in the correct manner. 

Scot
Scot started his musical carrer in 5th grade playing the drums.  His idol was Neil Peart of Rush.  Scot's love for music landed him a job as a dj many years later.  Scot has 24 years experience with weddings and has over 1000 weddings under his belt.  Scot is a high energy DJ but can adapt his personality for any wedding.  His fun personality, caring attitude and hilarious sense of humor has been a delight to many brides over the years.  Scot and Kevin have worked various companies together in the past and Kevin is ecstatic that Scot is part of Simply Sound.  He is one of Simply Sound's most booked DJs.  Scot's expertise with music and crowds will keep your dance floor packed all night long.     

Brian
Brian has had a love for electronic music growing up listening to favorites like Trent Reznor and Vangelis.  Following in his icons footsteps, he traded in his guitar for a piano and some turntables and began producing music as well as mastering tracks for local bands.  After honing his craft he hopped onto the Convention dance circuit and began DJing for conventions and eventually a few clubs here in Chicago.  Since then, he's been focusing on his MCing and DJ skills by showcasing weddings and other events. Brian is an adaptable DJ and can be conservative or a really hands on interactive DJ depending on the event and your guests.  He will also watch out for the little things that you may not even notice, like making sure that the cake knife and server are on the correct side of the cake to ensure the best pictures.

Shane
Shane started dj'ing small events in 1994 and started dj'ing weddings in 1998.  When Shane isn't dj'ing a wedding, he is a renowned karaoke dj for various establishments across the Chicagoland area.  He is more of a conservative style dj but can adapt his personality to high energy if need be.  He possess expert knowledge in weddings, music and taking charge of events.  He is truly a Master of Ceremonies.  Shane takes great pride in every detail to a wedding.  Shane goes out with a top quality professional computerized system containing over 50,000 songs.  He can download any song on the spot.  As a backup he has another laptop and 2 external hard drives as well as a dual cd player.    
 
Jim
Kevin and Jim have been friends for years.  Jim was fisrt seen at local bars hosting karoake nights.  Jim has an upbeat personality and his background in standup comedy really makes him a first class entertainer.  Jim brings new ideas to existing songs to keep them fresh so it's not the same boring routine when you hear YMCA or the Car Wash.  Jim is a medium to high energy dj.  He is very knowledgeable when it comes to music of all styles.  He will use the right amount of interaction to keep your guests entertained all night long.  Jim loves brides that give him entire play lists.  Jim can provide live dinner singing if you would like. 
 
Greg
Greg has been DJing weddings since 2008. He speaks fluent Polish. He can adapt his style from a conservative DJ (keeping it simple) to high energy DJ (getting down). Greg loves being a part of the bride & groom's special day and his goal is to make their wedding " A night to remember" by providing great service and  giving the guests a good time on the dance floor. He is a fun, happy-go-lucky DJ, and with his extensive background in live event production and his technical knowledge, he is prepared to handle any type of wedding. His motto is "There is good music in every style," and loves to play the songs that make you wanna shake that groove thing!  

Rubel
Rubel is Simply Sound's bi-lingual DJ.  He has been dj'ing for the last 25 years (that's a lot of chicken dances) and has truly mastered the art of keeping a dance floor.  Rubel isn't limited to just Hispanic parties, but all types of parties.  Anywhere that fun can be created, Rubel will be there.  He is a very relaxed dj and loves to create fun for everyone.  His knowledge of weddings is expert.  When he isn't riding his chopper he is downloading music.  He is knowledgeable of music for all styles and groups.  Rubel goes out with a computerized system.
